Results that matter

  • Marshview Road opened, providing safer and faster commute times for Ward 1 residents.
  • Employment lands at Highway 400 are open and ready for business - with new employment opportunities for residents.
  •  Traffic calming measures put in place and worked with South Simcoe Police to increase enforcement.
  •  Listened and responded to residents - including the addition of stop signs at the suggestions of residents.
  • Two new retirement residences being constructed in town, one of which is in Ward 1.
  •  Addition of new parks in town, including two new parks in Ward 1.
  •  Improvement in snow removal services and park maintenance services.
  •  Enhancements to fire department, including hiring of additional firefighters and increased life-saving equipment

Moving Forward


  •  Continue to work with Town’s by-laws and South Simcoe Police to introduce traffic calming measures.
  •  Continue to be respectful and responsible with taxpayer’s dollars and keep property tax increases in   line with the rate of inflation.
  •  Complete and open 5th Line interchange to decrease commute times for residents. 
  •  Introduce additional employment lands and opportunities.
  •  Continue to advocate to the provincial and federal government to fund and build the Highway 400-   404 link.
  •  Continue to promote and market Bradford West Gwillimbury as an attractive community for   businesses to locate here and grow with us.
