Meet Raj Sandhu, your Deputy Mayor

"My commitment to the community is to lead the best way I can, to be a champion for BWG and to work hard every day for all residents."

Raj Sandhu (Deputy Mayor)

Committed to creating opportunities for residents of Bradford West Gwillimbury

For the past 12 years, I have had the honour and privilege to represent the residents of Ward 1 in Bradford West Gwillimbury. Since 1989, my family and I have proudly called BWG home.

From the small community we moved to in the late 80s, to the growing and diverse Town it has become today, BWG has come a long way to provide families with responsible and caring municipal services. While growing in population, we have also grown our commercial and industrial sector.

As I consider the future of our community, I see great potential that we can realize. I’m enthusiastic about what we can accomplish. I believe with a strong voice Town-wide and at the County level, we can realize this potential.

Deputy Mayor
